VanshLink is an independent chatting app made in India by Vansh Kashyap — an AI automation and full-stack developer from New Delhi and co-founder of LZ Worth.
Why VanshLink exists
Most chat apps ask for your phone number first, and every group you join stays in your chats forever. VanshLink started from two simple ideas: you should be able to talk to someone without handing over your number, and a group for a trip or a match should be able to disappear when it's done.
So VanshLink lets you sign up with just a username, encrypts every message end to end, and gives you chat rooms anyone can join with a code — no sign-up — that delete themselves.
How it's built
VanshLink is a progressive web app built with React and TypeScript, with Supabase for accounts and real-time delivery, the browser's Web Crypto for end-to-end encryption (ECDH and AES-GCM), and WebRTC for voice and video calls. Chat history is stored on your own devices; the server only relays encrypted messages.
